The European Table Tennis Championships, originally scheduled for September last year, will begin in the Polish capital on Tuesday and run until June 27.
The event will feature male and female competitors including defending European champion Timo Boll of Germany and Poland's multiple Olympian and Paralympian Natalia Partyka.

The European Table Tennis Union (ETTU) said last year it was postponing the event due to an increased number of coronavirus cases in many parts of the continent, combined with travel restrictions, and mandatory quarantines in place for some countries.
Ronald Kramer, head of the European Table Tennis Union, was quoted as saying at the time that the “safety of players, coaches, officials, volunteers, staff and partners has been a priority for all organisations involved.”
Dariusz Szumacher, head of the Polish Table Tennis Federation, said that Warsaw was looking forward “to welcoming everyone on another date."
